Tip for travelling with embroidery projects

Let me tell you - I love flying but.. first time on a small (and I'm sure VERY old) propella machine - I did not like it. Start and landing is a VERY lively affair!!!
Photo by me - reasonably calm.

photographing the flowerpattern from book

I brought a small embroidery project with me when travelling to visit my family and my brother at the hospice.

Bringing the embroidery book was too heavy as I only brought handluggage on the plane, so I took photos from the book with my digital camera of the different flowers, so I was able later on the display of the camera to see the colors, how the shading was done, in which direction the threads should go etc.
I'm sure this would also work for knitting, crochet and other projects where you are in a hurry and don't have time to make photocopies of the patterns or can bring heavy books.

Great idea for all of us, who cannot go on a holiday without a project - we bring the camera anyway:-)

It was a great help and on a digital camera you can take a lot of photos and then just delete them later. Easy and smart!
